Design & Illustration | Event Graphics | Conservation Signage

The Idaho Foundation for Parks and Lands is Idaho’s oldest land trust, protecting beloved places across the state—including the Barber Pool Conservation Area, my favorite stretch of the Boise River. This unique section of river corridor is home to a nesting pair of Bald Eagles and many other species, and has remained largely untouched for over a century.

Our collaboration began with a custom-designed informational banner for the Barber Pool Conservation Area, supporting public awareness and stewardship of this special place. I also provided event graphics for the “Go Wild!” celebration and created a hand-illustrated location sign for the Foundation’s historic 18 Mile Ranch property.

Services Provided:

  1. Custom design & illustration

  2. “Go Wild!” event support graphics

  3. Location sign for 18 Mile Ranch

Barber Pool Wildlife Refuge Informational Banner

This 7.5-foot banner features 14 species of wildlife, plants, and insects that rely on the Barber Pool Conservation Area for critical habitat. Designed to inspire awe and understanding, the piece invites visitors and neighbors to connect more deeply with this unique natural corridor—and to join in protecting it for future generations.

Created using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate interchangeably.

18 Mile Ranch Preserve Sign
Created to mark the generous 2022 donation of the T.R. and Emily Stone Shelby Preserve at 18 Mile Ranch, this hand-illustrated sign highlights the tranquil beauty of the landscape while honoring the Foundation’s ongoing mission to protect open spaces in Idaho. The artwork reflects the seasonal color palette of the high desert watershed and serves as a welcoming visual for visitors and stewards alike.

Created using Adobe Illustrator and Procreate.
